The excitement of Y谋ld谋zFest鈥26 is about to begin
Our university鈥檚 traditional spring festival, Y谋ld谋zFest鈥26, will take place from June 9鈥11, 2026, at the festival grounds on the Davutpa艧a Campus.
Spanning three days, Y谋ld谋zFest鈥26 will bring together the Y谋ld谋z community with a rich program ranging from concerts and student club events to technology and engineering projects, as well as art and sports activities.
A panel titled "Zero Waste" was held at YT脺
As part of "Istanbul Zero Waste Week," held in Istanbul from June 1 to 7, a panel discussion titled "The Zero Point of Waste" was organized. Speaking at the opening of the panel held at Y谋ld谋z Technical University鈥檚 Davutpa艧a Campus, Istanbul Governor Davut G眉l stated that Zero Waste Week was being held for the first time in Turkey and worldwide.
Concert in Memory of Vedat Kosal
The renowned piano virtuoso, musicologist, and composer Vedat Kosal is being commemorated on the 25th anniversary of his passing with a concert organized by the Vedat Kosal Music Application and Research Center at Y谋ld谋z Technical University.
This year鈥檚 concert, featuring young pianist Utku Asan, will take place at the Sound Recording Studio of the Faculty of Art and Design at YT脺鈥檚 Davutpa艧a Campus. The program aims to present a wide-ranging repertoire spanning from the Classical Period to the 20th century.
Culture Festival '26
Our International Students Club鈥檚 鈥淐ulture Festival 鈥26鈥 event will take place on June 5 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Event Area.
Environmental Festival
Our Environment and Sustainability Club鈥檚 Environment Festival will take place on June 4 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in front of the cafeteria at the Davutpa艧a Campus.
GLOBE TALKS
Our Hydrogen Technologies Club鈥檚 GLOBE TALKS event will take place on June 2鈥3 in the EEF Conference Hall.
The Baraka Spirit at YT脺 Y谋ld谋z Technopark: Aiming for Global Exports Through Academic Strength
Companies located in the YT脺 Y谋ld谋z Technopark TGB zone gathered at the "Baraka Era Neighborhood" meeting, organized to strengthen university-industry collaboration. Hosted by YT脺 Rector Prof. Dr. Ey眉p Debik, the event focused on strategic steps to prioritize value-added production and gain a competitive edge in global markets.
Zero Waste Panel
Under the patronage of Mrs. Emine Erdo臒an, Honorary President of the Zero Waste Foundation, and coordinated by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change of the Republic of Turkey, the Zero Waste Project has become one of our country鈥檚 most significant environmental initiatives aimed at protecting our environment, ensuring the efficient use of resources, and promoting a culture of sustainable living.
T脺B Launches Initiative for Joint R&D and Research Infrastructure
The fourth meeting of the Union of Technical Universities, which brings together Turkey鈥檚 12 leading technical universities, was hosted by Erzurum Technical University. Chaired by YT脺 Rector and T脺B Chair Prof. Dr. Ey眉p Debik, the meeting addressed the 2026 BAP processes, the shared use of research infrastructure, and digital integration among universities.
