Under the patronage of Mrs. Emine Erdo臒an, Honorary President of the Zero Waste Foundation, and coordinated by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change of the Republic of Turkey, the Zero Waste Project has become one of our country鈥檚 most significant environmental initiatives aimed at protecting our environment, promoting the efficient use of resources, and fostering a culture of sustainable living.
Launched in 2017 and quickly evolving into a model of awareness both nationally and internationally, the project has created a broad sphere of influence鈥攆rom public institutions to local governments, and from universities to the private sector鈥攎aking significant contributions to Turkey鈥檚 vision for environmental transformation.
In this context, as part of the June 1鈥7, 2026 Istanbul Zero Waste Week events, a panel titled 鈥淭he Zero Point of Waste鈥 will be held on Wednesday, June 3, in collaboration between Y谋ld谋z Technical University and the Zero Waste Foundation.
The program will address topics such as sustainable cities, the circular economy, zero-waste practices, resource efficiency, and environmental transformation, with the participation of representatives from the public sector, local governments, universities, industry, and experts in the field.
We look forward to welcoming you to this meaningful event, which will highlight our shared responsibility toward the future.
Best regards,
